Contradictions in Manifesting
November 11, 2024 (updated from December 4, 2023)
Manifesting is such a hot topic for many reasons. There is a whole legion of people who swear by it and use it regularly. Others doubt its efficacy and question its spiritual meaning (good or bad).
In my mind, manifesting is the same as ask and you shall receive. When I started manifesting, I did considerable research as to what the steps were, whether it actually worked or not, was it sinful, etc. and there were some contradictions that made it a little unclear about the process of it all.
Believe that it’s already yours, because it is BUT accept that you might not get it AND if you don’t get it, that means that something better is waiting for you.
I can’t clarify this contradiction definitively, but one way to interpret it is, that you will get what you want but it won’t look like what you thought it would. Keep an open mind that it may come in a different form than what you expected.
Another way to interpret it is by timing. You may be manifesting something to happen by, say your next birthday, but it doesn’t happen. It’s wholly possible that your timing is different than divine timing. This thing that your manifesting could be life-changing in all the best ways, but just not when you thought - divine timing is perfect.
Imagine it and feel it BUT imagining it is just a fantasy
This one I also can’t clarify definitely, but my theory is that it depends on the way your picturing; is it in a realistic setting? Are you picturing yourself the way you actually look? Are you using your senses or your imagination to feel what it would be like?
The difference could be that you’re imagining your soulmate to show up on a steed in a suit of armor, while you wave with your white handkerchief peering through your best veil, versus him knocking on your door with jeans on and a handful of roses, while you answer wearing your favorite casual sweater. Being unrealistic could be leading to non-fruition.
In my opinion and experience, manifesting is real. I’ve seen it with my own eyes and felt it with my own heart. It can be confusing and a little frustrating when it doesn’t seem to pan out the way you hoped, but don’t give up.
Instead of second guessing yourself about your deservedness, consider re-evaluating your process and take the things that I mentioned into account. Timing and unrealistic expectations can really hinder the actualization. Use your senses and actually hear when you’re offered your dream job and feel your heart beat faster when you accept.
Keep your mind and your heart open, always.
